Background
Steven Iczkovitz is a partner practicing in our Toronto office. Steven was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1975. Steven holds an undergraduate degree from Wayne State University (B.Sc.) and the University of Windsor (LL.B.)
Areas of Practice
- Steven practices commercial and real property law, including real estate development, public/private partnerships, proposal calls, mixed use developments, joint ventures and real estate financing.
Professional Experience
- Acts for the Association of Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology of Ontario in respect of re-organization of corporate/financial structure for integration of system wide activities, including the organization of the Ontario College Application Service as an operating division.
- Acts for several Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology in respect of commercial transactions, including Campus re-development and dispositions, and the development and operation of student residences and student centres; preparation and review of proposal calls; public sector-private sector partnering agreements; and liaison with and obtaining Ministry approvals.
- Acts for several Hospitals in respect of real property issues.
- Acts for various lenders in respect of lending, security review, and realization transactions.
- Acts for private developers in respect of variety of real estate acquisitions, development, financing, joint venture, partnership and disposition.
