Background
Rocco D’Angelo is a partner at our Ottawa office. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1986. Born and raised in Ottawa, Mr. D’Angelo attended Carleton University for his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He completed his law studies at the University of Ottawa, where he graduated magna cum laude and received the University Gold Medal. He is conversant in Italian and speaks some French.

Professional Experience

Has wide experience in real estate matters and has represented owners and developers of commercial real estate projects as well as institutional lenders in the financing of shopping centres, hotels and office complexes. He has also been involved in several public-private partnership projects involving municipal facilities.

Mr. D’Angelo has presented at a number of industry related functions, including the 1990 Residential Real Estate Loss Prevention Program in Ottawa, the 1994 CBA/LSUC Seminar entitled “The Pragmatic Practitioner: The Do’s and Don’ts of Everyday Practice”, the Real Estate Bar Admission Course and the 2005 OBA/CCLA Seminar entitled “Priorities, Practices and Problems under the PPSA”.
