Background

Mary Arzoumanidis is an associate in the Toronto office. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2007. Mary completed her LL.B. at the University of Windsor in 2003, where she was awarded the E. Bruce Leonard Prize for obtaining the highest mark in courses relating to bankruptcy and insolvency, and the Students' Law Society Award for Outstanding Contribution. In 2004, Mary received her LL.M. from King's College London, University of London specializing in corporate insolvency. Prior to her legal studies, Mary received her Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University in 2000, with a major in History and a minor in Psychology.

Mary joined the Insolvency and Restructuring Group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP after articling with a boutique insolvency and litigation firm in Toronto.

  • Advises secured parties on issues relating to the granting and enforcement of security interests in personal property under the Personal Property Security Act (Ontario).
