Background
Lisa Alleyne is an Associate in the Toronto office. Lisa earned her law degree at Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC (J.D. 1999). Prior to law school, Lisa received an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Lisa began her career as a criminal defence lawyer practicing in New York. On her return to Toronto, she specialized in civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury and health law. She was called to the New York bar in 2000 and to the Ontario bar in 2004.

- Lisa acts on behalf of hospitals and their employees in medical malpractice and other civil lawsuits, as counsel to the Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC). Lisa also provides general legal advice to client hospitals.
