Background
Louis Allard is a Patent Agent with the Ottawa office. Louis obtained bachelors and masters degrees in physics from Université de Moncton and a Ph.D. degree in physics from University of Ottawa. Louis has acquired a vast experience in high-tech technology working as a postdoctoral fellow at Université de Montréal, as a research assistant at the National Research Council and as an optical designer at JDS Uniphase Corp.
Louis is author and co-author of over twenty scientific articles and holds, as an inventor, four U.S. patents related to the measurement and control of polarization of light beams. Perfectly bilingual, Louis is a member of the Intellectual Property and Technology Professional Group.
